Rikki Endsley is a long-time tech editor, writer, content strategist, and open source community manager, and a 2016 recipient of an O’Reilly Open Source Award. In the past, she worked as the editor of Red Hat Developer; a community manager and editor for Opensource.com; a community evangelist on the Open Source and Standards team at Red Hat; freelance tech journalist; community manager for the USENIX Association; associate publisher of Linux Pro MagazineADMIN, and Ubuntu User; and as the managing editor of Sys Admin magazine and UnixReview.com.

Rikki has an English degree from the University of Texas (Austin) and a Master’s of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
